We are extremely proud of our beautiful communities and our reputation for quality of life and safety. However, accidents do happen, even when people are careful. As communicated in your lease, damage caused by a resident is usually the financial responsibility of that resident. These accidents – such as bathtubs overflowing, kitchen fires or damage to the common areas – can create significant financial hardship for community residents. That is why liability insurance coverage with a minimum $100,000 liability limit is a requirement for all new residents within our communities.
As an existing resident, you are also required to furnish proof of renters insurance annually. You may choose the insurance company and policy limits that are most appropriate for your situation, but we do require the minimum liability limit of $100,000. When you secure your policy, please provide proof of this coverage, with Cove Property Management LLC listed on the policy as an “additional insured” or “interested party.”
