Exciting Promotions within Cove

EXCITING NEWS!

As we continue to look ahead and put our strategic plan into action, I am excited to announce several promotions and updates to our Cove Team!

First, Courtney Higgins is taking on a brand-new role of Assistant Director of Operations. In this role, Courtney will work very closely with Steve and Sonya to support and direct the overall operations of all Cove communities. She will continue to provide direct support to our on-site leaders and teams throughout the southern region.

With Courtney taking on this new role, this created the opportunity to promote Vanessa Cabezas from Assistant Property Manager to Property Manager at Spa Cove and West Woods. Vanessa has been a tremendous asset to Cove and our Annapolis communities for over seven years.

Betty Ariza has always been a very dedicated team member, embodying and exemplifying the “Cove Way” for five years. Betty is being promoted from Leasing Consultant to Leasing Manager at Spa Cove and West Woods.

Vanessa and Betty have played key roles in the success of Spa Cove and West Woods and we look forward to the continued success of these properties under their leadership.

In addition to these changes, we have promoted Caitlin Shrum from Operations Coordinator to Manager of Marketing & Training. In this newly created department and role, Caitlin will continue to work closely with our property teams to evaluate and develop our marketing strategies, ensuring we continue to stay up to date with marketing best practices, our social media presence and stellar reputation management. Additionally, Caitlin will provide training and support to all teams, ensuring continued professional development and improved career pathing.

I am very excited for these promotions and look forward to our continued growth and success as an organization, team and family. Please join me in saying CONGRATULATIONS to Courtney, Vanessa, Betty, and Caitlin!
